Depends how long a person has been using IBT as to whether permanent changes have taken place or not. As for instant relapses on returning to flat, I'm not aware of a body of evidence to support this. I do know that people feel terrible in the mornings after returning back to flat within a few days, and quickly put the bed back up. This generally happens within the first month or so.

MS relapses can occur for many reasons, a hot bath / shower for example, or sitting in a chair / car seat for too long. Drying washing on a radiator is another, changing home from a dry place to a higher humidity, such as a coastal region or river valley area has also been shown to increase the incidence of ms.

That said, it has also been reported that sleeping flat after using IBT for a while brings about strange sensations, such as the feeling your head is going down through the floor. Try laying flat on your back on the floor for a few minutes. Also reports of severe lethargy, muscle aches, dizziness on getting out of bed etc etc.

I imagine because IBT is correcting so many things....it can be a complex observation. We have found MS patients to be laden with toxicity....taking a hot shower exposes them to chlorine which facilitates dementia even....but many other people take hot showers and are not sick...many other people live where it's dry..and humid...and whatever. Once a person is full of heavy metals in the brain due to exposure then immune failure and starts getting MS...all sorts of stuff happens. Now we hear about the blocking vessels...yes opening the vessels can increase immunity which can reduce the toxicity. So can increased circulation in IBT. But what if there is neck spinal damage? Then all these methods might fail...or get affected by small changes like humidity and dryness...which do affect circulation but we have to also admit that the body is very adaptable and will try to stay alive....otherwise we would all be dead.
The unfortunate thing POLITICALLY...is to approach the authorities from a 'simple cure all' angle....even if it is. They feel that we might be dismissing all those studies they authorized that proved all that data. I tend to approach everything different nowadays....by believing everyone is correct to a certain degree...or from where they are observing...then hope people would pool all their data. Fat chance of that happening....
The many forums and groups I have been in with very many therapies that gave results...all suffered from a simple problem...they couldn't take criticism even amongst themselves...so what about being attacked by the medical fraternity? I am learning more and more about IBT so I can understand and explain all the observed phenomena. Glad to see from your interactions with others that you have handled even stupid questions quite well. But we still have a lot to learn..all of us.

Those strange sensations when lying flat are probably the nerves. The force loading on the spine is very different lying flat than on incline or standing. Although dizziness is a circulatotory symptom...the nerves coming out of the spine control the heartbeat and blood pressure, indirectly...so in the end the nerves are always there. The pain several of my patients and myself are feeling on incline is most likely spinal nerves...either getting repaired or pulled...hopefully the former. I don't get funny sensations lying flat at all. If I did I would get worried...and get my spine checked.

As it is I am getting my spine checked anyway...today I felt an intense pain on exactly an old injury site in the mid spine from my twenties....thanks to the IBT for bringing it up for repair.

'Actually even sitting has a great load on the spine...the discs are pressured. So if we sit with lowered knees...like for circulation due to gravity...it also reduces the load on the lumbar spine. Both benefits!!
When someone is ill and they move to the mountains or the sea and get well...they have changed so many factors that science doesn't recognize and cannot properly observe the effect. If proper clinical trials had been done on IBT all those years ago...perhaps it would be the norm now. We can only hope.

As I read more and more old posts from other forums about IBT I realise its all been done and said for the most part. Amazed that Andrew hasn't become totally exhausted...two decades of repeated stuff...but at least the positive feedback is good. Got a tonsillitis attack today....and a whitlow type big toe...painful. Daughter has a stiff neck...MONTH 5. But now I understand far better what is going on. Just seems here that stuff takes longer to occur than what others have posted. Wife also has a bit of a stiff neck and back. We remain on track.

Yes the stiff neck, though not everyone has this problem, it is temporary and I suspect the spine is realigning, so pressure points have changed, also the joints / discs are being eased apart.

Tonsillitis and inflammation could be a reaction to an increased immune response. We usually gargle with diluted fresh lime juice and swallow it. Even chew on pieces of fresh lime for mouth ulcers etc. Pretty instant relief.

Yes two decades is enough for me but if it takes another two then so be it.

The tonsillitis is waning after only a day!!! Oil pulled with ozonated oil. Usually it would be a week of agony. The whitlow is not half as painful as I know it should be. A purging indeed. In fact in my case of almost necrotic tonsils...they are coming alive!!
I will now go and relearn and rewrite all my medical knowledge...as my eyesight seems suddenly improved and even my verbal acuity goes up!! Andrew...met a guy in the U.S...ex Lebanese who started the hydroponics irrigation idea...says he worked for 40 years before anyone took him seriously....he just sold the thing for 400 million dollars I think or something...as they now all use his ideas!! The future is ours!

You are totally right on the back I think...it is stretching and straightening. Have you had feedback on scoliosis...as with this condition the back can also be TURNED and twisted in addition to being bent wrong. The neck is trickier I think...as most people have bad pillows...my wife and son have abandoned their pillows now..preferring to sleep on the mattress. Why I am gonna get cervical pillows. Otherwise thanks again...feel like I am at last getting over my nibbling health issues. As my energy returns I will mobilise.
