Series of photographs of severe bruising resulting from a fall, Photographs taken over 10 days following my injury

I had a fall several days ago resulting in a severely bruised hip, considerable pain, having twisted my hip joint. I fell on to some logs that I was carrying having got my feet caught up in the plastic cover. The first day I could barely walk, I had severe discomfort and pain after resting up on the flat settee / couch. This was interesting because the bruising hadn't come out immediately but my injury and pain was considerably worse as a result of resting up horizontally.

Went to bed, “Inclined Bed Therapy” of course”, and could only sleep on right side and back. On waking I was pain free although the bruised area was tender and stinging a little when putting on clothes. I could walk around with a little discomfort, took first photograph that evening on the 24th of March 2013. Then another 27th March 2013 trying to match the exact lighting of the first photograph. More taken 28th, 29th, 30th and 3rd April

After first photograph was taken the next morning again pain free but had some modest pain and aching again after resting up or sitting by the computer, but no pain or discomfort in the morning after IBT. Interesting?

The following day I was able to walk normally without pain and only discomfort was from clothing pressure or when turning over in bed, even so by now I was able to sleep on left hand side.

My walking is now back to normal now and only a slight stinging pain in the bruised area. Will take more photographs this evening and so on. I think people will be astounded at the rate of healing using Inclined Bed Therapy.

The Gravity of Life Part 3 (Brixham Cliff Experiment)

Not Magic, Just Sound Repeatable Science. Water flowing effortlessly up a Cliff in Brixham raising water to 24 metres No PUMP used, gravity provides the driving force of the flow!
Text from Newspaper Cutting:
Herald Express, July 6, 1995, page 19. (local paper in Torbay, Devon)
Main Heading: Eureka!

Original press cutting from the Brixham Ciff Experiment showing water flowing up vertical to 24 meters without a pumpA Revolutionary breakthrough claimed by a Paignton man is to be investigated
by top scientists. Ideas man Andrew K Fletcher claims he has disproved a fundamental law of physics dating back to the 17th century. And impressed by the historic experiment at Overgang cliff, Brixham, to raise water 78 feet without the support of any artificial aids,
John Hunt, Senior forestry Officer for Devon and Somerset who witnessed the
experiment's success last Friday said: 'It was quite impressive.
The rule that water will only rise 32 feet under atmospheric pressure when in a column was effectively disproved."
But Mr Hunt explained that he is a professional forester not a scientist and
a report on the experiment would be sent to the Forestry commission 's Alice
Holt Research Station, near Farnham in Surrey, for further investigation. Mr Fletcher's experiment involves a long water filled plastic tube, strung
up the cliffside with both open ends placed in two filled demijohns.
A small amount of a salt solution is added a
t the top of the tube before it is completely filled with water, this acts as a liquid pulley says Mr Fletcher, lifting water from one demijohn to the other, thereby disproving Torriceli's 17th century law. This explains how trees can raise water to their tops beyond the 32 feet limit."
said an ecstatic Mr Fletcher. He believes that the discovery also suggests a mechanism by which all life on earth has evolved from the ground. Cliff experiment pulls plug on 300 year old law of physics

The Experiment at Brixham Overgang Cliffs where water flowed vertical up a single 6 mm bore tubing using 10 mils of salt solution, demonstrating that a tiny amount of denser solution can lift effortlessly many thousands of times it's own volume in water without any artificial aids, demonstrating clearly a non living physical cause of bulk flow in plants trees, animals and humans. The 10 metre limit for lifting water clearly needs some serious revision.

The Gravity of Life Part 2

Water flowing up instead of down without a pump will baffle your science teacher and enlighten the class as to the true principles behind circulation in trees and plants.

This simple experiment should be shown in every science book and every budding scientist should at least observe it But preferably repeat these experiments in order to appreciate how important they are.
The Education Authority for now is hanging on to erroneous outdated textbook beliefs and misconceptions. Possibly to avoid embracing back peddling or merely to avoid rocking the somewhat unstable boat.

The Gravity of Life Part 1

A video showing how circulation is caused by density changes in fluids. This discovery occurs in all living species, all use gravity to drive the circulation in trees, plants, animals, humans and even the Ocean Currents by acting upon minute changes in density due to evaporation / transpiration.

This discovery helps us to understand how a non-living physical force generates circulation, breathing life into every living organism, including you and I.

This video sets out some simple experiments that illustrate a powerful yet hitherto overlooked circulatory process capable of lifting water from ground level beyond 24 metres vertical without any artificial aids. There is no pump involved; yet water flows effortlessly like the sap in a tree to great heights.

These experiments will amaze your Science Teachers and cause them to question what they are teaching in class. Mr Smith, the science teacher at Paignton Community College said when watching water flowing up to a third floor window at the College; 'I have no problem with this experiment, this is exactly how water is lifted by trees, but what can I do about it? I still have to teach the curriculum.'

Doctor Choi in the engineering department at Exeter University after hearing my theory during our meeting looked out of the window of his office and said; 'For the first time, I understand a tree'.

Two vascular surgeons from Torbay Hospital after witnessing the experiments and hearing the theory replied; ' I thought pure science was dead, yet here it is on my kitchen table'. Another quote went; 'This fit's with everything I know about Human Physiology and just has to be correct'. I was also asked what would happen to the pressures inside the vessels of the leg following exercise. I replied; 'there would be an increase in positive pressure in the arteries and a decreased pressure in the veins, according to my theory. They replied, this is exactly what does happen and until now we have not fully understood it.

Professor Edzard Urnst at Exeter University following a short introduction to himself and several doctors wrote. We were truly fascinated!

I have a huge collection of promises of further investigation and possible clinical trials being conducted to test the theory further. None have been forthcoming!

A further video will follow shortly showing a scaled down version of the Brixham Experiment which was reported in the local press, witnessed by forestry senior management and scientists, yet ignored since 1995.

The Brixham Experiment also featured in another video show the true power of this phenomenon.

The following review came from a letter I wrote to the Late Professor H T Hammel,
who was a member of the Max Plank Institute.

Within a 2 weeks I received his reply

SCHOOL OF MEDIICINE date September 6/ 1995

Dear Mr Fletcher:

I received the information you sent me regarding your ideas about fluid
transport in trees, in tubing and in the vascular system in humans.

I will study your ideas and comment upon them as soon as possible. A Quick
scan of your Brixham experiment prompts me to ask if you conducted this
experiment with boiled water without any solute added to the tubing on
either side of the central point which you raise 24 meters? I expect that
you could raise the tubing to the same height with or without solute in the
water. In any case , your experiment confirms that clean water (water that
is unbroken water, water that is without a single minute bubble of vapour)
can support tension of several hundreds of atmospheres. The record tension
obtained experimentally is 270 atmospheres. At 10 degrees C. (c.f. Briggs,
L. Limiting negative pressure of water. Journal of Applied Physics 21:
721-722 1950).

I expect even this tension at brake point can be exceeded by careful
cleansing of the water, to remove even the most minute region of gas phase.
When the water is already broken, as occurs when gas is entrapped on
particulate matter in ordinary water, the water will expand around even a
single break when tension (negative Pressure) is applied to the water. When
you boil the water, prior to applying (2.4-1) ATM negative pressure to the
water in the highest point of the tubing, you eliminate some of these breaks
in ordinary water. I expect that dissolving NaCl or other solutes in the
water will have little or no effect on the way you measure the tensile
strength of water.

I am enclosing some reprints that may interest you. Some of these deal with
negative pressures we have measured in tall trees, mangroves and desert
shrubs. Other reprints deal with how solutes alter water in aqueous
solutions and how colloidal solutes (proteins) affect the flux of protein
free fluid between plasma in capillaries and interstitial fluid.
Sincerely H.T. Hammel Ph.D.

We are seeking more people with varicose veins who are willing to put IBT to the test and feel that this is something that your readers and colleagues will definitely find fascinating and some who have varicose veins and oedema and wish to avoid surgery may want to Help in this important trial and join our Free study which has already produced positive results in only 4 weeks as predicted!

News Release:

An Important Scientific Study into the cause of Varicose Veins and Oedema and Inclined Bed Therapy (I.B.T.) is now underway, which makes use of the way the body uses gravity to move solutes through the vessels to improve circulation and alter the pressure inside the veins to significantly reduce swelling and oedema. Our study is free for anyone to participate in. There are no products to be sold or marketed.

What is Inclined Bed Therapy?

Gravity was identified as the driving force behind circulation in trees in 1994 and was applied immediately to how circulation in the body benefits from the same interaction with salts and sugars in the circulation. A video showing the use of IBT with spinal cord injury can be viewed here.

IBT is simply tilting the bed so that the head end is 15 cm’s or 6 inches higher than the foot end providing a level but tilted bed, hence the name Inclined Bed Therapy.0 People with varicose veins, oedema (fluid retention) are needed to participate in an online Diary Study, in order to prove that simply altering our sleeping position can have a positive affect on these problems.

If you or someone you know has Varicose Veins, the standard advise is to raise your legs and tilt your bed the other way to IBT, Or to undergo risky and expensive surgery that is prone to fail because it does not address why the pressure inside the vein causes it to bulge.

Which according to current physiology books makes sense. But what if that logic is incorrect? All the evidence from our study is showing that gravity is not a force we are struggling to overcome but a force that drives the fluids within the body.

Are you prepared to take the 4 week challenge and provide us with your observations? Or do you know someone who has varicose veins and would like to watch them slowly but surely shrink and improve every night they go to bed instead of becoming more unsightly and uncomfortable?

The study is located and conducted independently on the Naked Scientists forum. No affiliation to Nakedscientists implied.

Proud to be able to think outside the box.

My wife’s calf showing clearly her varicose vein shadow, which went flat after 4 weeks of Inclined Bed Therapy back in 1994 and has not returned to its former state since.

Alun has already confirmed my statement on the study thread that Varicose veins will shrink after 4 weeks of IBT and has supplied us with photographic before and after 4 weeks of IBT along with a diary account of his observations. And he is not alone.

More reading:

We are hoping to find at least 50 more pioneering volunteers who wish to avoid surgery and it’s inherent risks and failures, who are willing to provide us with photographic and a written account of their own experiences sleeping inclined.

So far our study is running towards a predicted outcome that flies in the face of current physiology literature.

Photographic Evidence: Higher Resolution

2nd Photograph: Same Male 34 years showing Varicose Vein on Calf Muscle 6 months of IBT

Male 34 varicose veins after 10 weeks of Inclined Therapy

Look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely Andrew K Fletcher
